No need to take time off work

The BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals is designed specifically for copper and fibre engineers who need to have their skills and competence recognised through a Level 3 NVQ qualification. The qualification is online – there is no need to leave work and attend a course. Engineers need to build a portfolio of evidence gathered from the work that they do. This qualification can be completed as quickly as the engineer can complete their portfolio.

What do I need to do?

Once you have signed up you will get access to your online portfolio (ePortfolio). Engineers then gather evidence from the workplace and answer online questions. These are assessed against the unit standards and when all of the criteria have been met you will be certificated. Please see the videos below on how the ePortfolio works.
